For nearly 30 years, Misericordia de Dios Ministry has been faithfully serving men in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica who are battling addiction. The ministry’s focus is simple yet powerful: healing through the Word of God. Over the years, countless men have found freedom, hope, and transformation in Christ through their program.

About a year ago, God blessed the ministry with funds to purchase land near Sámara, where they began construction on a new facility. The vision is to create a home that could house 25–30 men, offering them not only shelter but also discipleship, fellowship, and a path toward freedom from addiction.

• Phase 1: A multipurpose building (currently framed with a roof and partial walls) that will serve as the immediate living space until completion of the main dormitories.
• Phase 2: An L-shaped housing facility with bunk rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and dining areas to fully support the men in recovery.

The men themselves are doing nearly all of the construction work, balancing daily jobs to feed themselves with the labor of building their future home. Progress is steady but slow due to limited resources.
