How Dentistry Opens Doors   

Medical clinics as spiritual care 

LOT went to Central America to offer dental clinics and health education with AIM. 

But what do teeth have to do with helping AIM fight sex-trafficking? 

A lot of healing and transformational work is about re-emphasizing the inherent human value that trafficking threatens. It’s reminding people that they deserve Agape love and the care it inspires. 

Or, as Justin from Least of These puts it, “spiritual salvation often comes on the heels of physical salvation.” 

Through the clinic, the team was able to see almost 300 patients, but they we are praying for a bigger vision—seeing the clinic open year-round to provide regular access to cleanings.
