Stand with Zeneida as she chooses life and prepares to welcome her baby boy.

Before Zeneida ever saw her baby, she was carrying fear, uncertainty, and the weight of circumstances she did not choose.

She is 16 years old, pregnant with a baby boy due June 29th and trying to navigate it all with very little support.

When we met her, one thing was clear: she needed a moment of connection, hope, and truth.

We felt called to help her see her baby.

Because sometimes, everything changes in a moment.

Through your support, we were able to provide transportation, cover her first medical visit, and pay for her ultrasound.

And it did change something.

She saw her baby boy.

She connected.

And she is choosing life.

We also learned during that appointment that her baby is measuring small and needs more nutrients to grow strong and healthy. Now, the need is urgent, she needs consistent, nourishing food, along with continued medical care.

We believe God is moving in her story and inviting us to be part of it.

How We Found Her:

Zeneida was connected to us through Maria, the wife of Pastor Juan from Tamarindo Church.

Maria met her at a local feeding center where Zeneida goes for meals. What started as a simple interaction became something much more, an opportunity to step in and support her in a time of real need.

Meet Zeneida:

Zeneida is a 16-year-old girl originally from Nicaragua.

Zeneida is pregnant due to very difficult circumstances. Once her older sister learned of her situation she knew she had to do something.

Zeneida’s sister helped her escape to Costa Rica and is now doing her best to protect her and create a better future for her.

But her story does not end there.

In the middle of fear, instability, and limited resources, she has made a courageous and life-giving choice, she is choosing life for her baby boy.

Her strength is real. But she still needs support.

The Plan:

We are committed to walking with Zeneida in a real and practical way. Our plan includes:

Nutrition: Providing consistent, nourishing food so her baby can grow healthy and strong
Medical Care: Funding doctor visits and at least one more ultrasound (scheduled for early May)
Living Support: Helping make her living environment safe and appropriate for a newborn
Community & Care: Hosting a baby shower to provide essential items and surround her with encouragement
